Cooper's Cask Coffee. The Perfect Subscription Product With No Subscription System.

Barrel-aged coffee reviewed by The Whiskey Advocate and roasted fresh to order. People who found it became obsessive repeat buyers. But there was no system to make that happen predictably.

Subscription Not Converting
A subscription option lived on the site but was never the primary CTA. Most buyers purchased once at single-bag pricing with no prompt to lock in a recurring order.
Barrel Story Buried
The process of ageing single-origin beans in freshly dumped whiskey and rum barrels from Sons of Liberty distillery was buried in an About page. No paid creative used it as a hook.
No Email Nurture
Email capture existed but the sequence behind it was minimal. No education on barrel ageing, no introduction to the different cask varieties, no push toward subscription after a first purchase.
No Gifting System
The product is an ideal gift for whiskey lovers. Q4 spiked orders but no gifting campaign, bundle, or email sequence existed to capture that demand.

The Diagnostic
Before writing a single ad or building a single flow, we ran a full revenue leak audit across the ad account, email platform, and funnel.

The Build
We've Built
The exact systems we put in place across ads, funnel, and email to fix the leaks.
Barrel Club Launch
Reframed the subscription as the Barrel Club with a dedicated cold traffic campaign. LP led with the barrel ageing process and Sons of Liberty distillery partnership. One CTA: join the club.
Barrel Story Creative
Built Meta video creative showing the 60-day barrel ageing process as the hook. Three angles: the process, the gifting occasion, and a whiskey lover discovery angle for cold audiences.
Post-Purchase Email Stack
Three-email post-purchase sequence educating on cask varieties and pushing Barrel Club at day seven. Gifting sequence triggered in October targeting past buyers with a bundle offer.
What Didn't Work
The whiskey lover cold audience underperformed. Whiskey interest targeting on Meta brought strong engagement but poor purchase rate. The audience was curious but not coffee buyers. We switched to coffee interest audiences with whiskey as a secondary qualifier and CPA dropped 44% within two weeks.
The first Barrel Club LP led with the subscription savings angle, 15% off every order. Conversion was 1.4%. Buyers were not motivated by price. We rebuilt the page to lead with exclusivity and the distillery partnership story. Conversion moved to 3.1% in nine days.
